We are A Midsummer's Dreaming Theatre Company, a Company completely dedicated to the joyful and excellent training of the young performer!

Philosophy

THEATRE IS A JOYFUL EXPLORATION OF YOURSELF AND OTHERS!

We believe that when young people are presented with appropriate theatrical challenges according to their age, level of experience and interest, they gain significant acting skill. They also gain valuable life skills that are instrumental in their immediate and future development.

Mission

Our purpose is to provide acting training of an ethical, artistic and extremely high quality within a balanced environment of learning, fun, respect, care, joy, challenge and friendship to any young person who wants to learn about the theatre arts and achieve excellence in acting through training and performance. We offer this opportunity to all, regardless of race, creed, color, ethnic background or experience. We endeavor to open doors of creativity to all the participants who train with us.

Our History 

Our adventure of working with young people began eighteen years ago. Our first summer theatre camp quickly expanded to after-school and weekend programs. In 1995, we moved to Montclair, New Jersey and have been there ever since!
